About Kaysia

I have worked in the field of social work for the past 12 years, with a particular interest and focus on treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma and anxiety. I work with survivors of childhood abuse and neglect, first responders, military members, survivors of sexual and domestic violence and those struggling with their mental health more generally. I currently see clients in-person in Ottawa and virtually throughout Ontario.

My Approach

I use an approach that is client-centered, meaning that I see my role as a collaborator working alongside you on the challenges you’re identifying.

In our first session together, we will go through a thorough assessment, which will allow us to identify areas of focus for our work and, then, to develop a treatment plan guided by evidence-based practices.

My Services

Feeling comfortable and safe with your therapist is essential, which is why I offer a free 15-20 minute virtual consultation to ensure we both feel the fit is right.

I offer individual psychotherapy, with sessions ranging from 50 to 80 minutes.

As a registered Social Worker in Ontario, my services are covered by many private health coverage providers.
